Unscheduled Special Events: Examples of unscheduled special events are weather related such as natural disasters and accidents. These are especially difficult to capture because they come with little or no advance warning making planning and adequate preparation difficult. Often these images are speculative and made available to interested parties following the event. Post event photos for use a s property damage assessments following a storm, flood, fire, or other disaster can be coordinated with insurance companies, municipal governments, or property owners to achieve optimal results.

Uses for photos following an unscheduled special event include search and rescue, documentation of a historical event, damage assessments, recovery planning, engineering exhibits, and legal exhibits to name a few.

Scheduled Special Events: Examples of scheduled special events include industrial project milestones such as completion, shipping or transit of large products, outdoor events with large gatherings of people such as commercial or retail grand openings, ground breaking ceremonies for construction as a precursor to construction progress photos, flea markets, sporting events, etc...
